An actual Rolex Dealer Atomic clock

That listing was from September of 2012 and is long gone, unfortunately.

What I'm getting at is, Rolex doesn't make wall clocks as a product; they make wristwatches. There are advertising clocks out there, made to look like giant Rolex watches with quartz movements stuck in them. There seems to be some hairsplitting going on over whether there are Rolex-authorized advertising clocks vs. unlicensed versions. I assume that unlicensed versions exist -- why wouldn't they, if the market is there? -- but in the absence of any easily documented real ones, or any VeRO-based listing takedown activity, the whole debate gets academic real fast.

If you see a Rolex wall clock, you buy it, and you find it to be as described, then it's a Rolex wall clock. The reality is that it's a big, plastic wall clock with a quartz movement in it, but unless Rolex themselves were making wall clocks that are significantly different from that in some way, then I don't see any conclusive proof of anything.

I'm not arguing in favor of Chinese fakes here; I'm just saying that I haven't seen any anything provably, genuine Rolex that they might be copying from.

No such thing as a 'FAKE' Rolex wall clock, if it tells time it's a real clock.

Rolex makes watches not wall clocks.

Learn a little French

Superb Replique - means "excellent replica" ( aka FAKE) in BOLD ITALIC - so you bought what they were advertizing

only the rolex people can get tis off ebay - no one else

Life has become immeasurably better since I have chosen to stop taking it seriously.

If it was an official item it would cost thousands,Are you that greedy or naive to think you are buying an official Rolex manufactured clock for £150?

I don't what you expect for the price, A REAL ROLEX?  Of course these are knock offs.  I bought 2 as gifts but paid half of the price paid here.  They look great and work great.  For 150.00 US is about what you'd expect to pay for a cool wall clock.  I just can't find a band large enough!!.

Google fake rolex clocks , feckin thousands available. Anybody who buys one of these must accept it's not genuine . Rolex started in 1905.
They are probably worth no more than a tenner , if eBay won't touch your complaint your local trading standards will.
Rolex do not endorse them nor do they manufacture them.
eBay sometimes has it's eyes closed, it was quick to stop the sale of an Elmo suite from china for me, because of image rights,
Do these clocks not infringe Any rights, I think they do.
Remember if it's too good to be true, it probably is.

Can you point us to photos showing a real Rolex wall clock?

The advertising clock that you received seems to match the photos in the listing, and contains a typical wall-clock quartz movement.

Beware of fake Rolex wall clocks

[ Edited ]

The last months I have seen a lot of people selling fake Rolex wall clocks on eBay.

I bought one myself, and thought it was real, but found out later it was a replica/fake.

Opened a case, but lost. eBay did not care! So, please, do not buy Rolex wall clocks here from eBay.
